nvented by Cal Tech grad, Dr. Wave. While Dr. Wave might have tackled any of the world’s problems, he turned to developing metals that would not rust in salt water. Soon turned his brilliant intellect to inventing the perfect surfing robot, developing special sensors to detect perfect waves and create awesome surfing moves. Named robot H-20, code name Oscar, moved to Hanalei, Hawaii, to program Oscar to surf. There Hanalei Hawaii Oscar christened H2O; Dr. Wave thought that fit much better than H-20. Became friends with Waikiki Woodie and Curl. Realized H2O needed a surfing companion; used Curl as his model for Rusty.
